In this video, you will receive an overview of how to disable and enable the Opto assessment process in the ED admin panel.

This process will deactivate the iPads and QR codes available at the front door of your emergency department.

  1. First, log in to the ED admin panel. When in the panel, go down the left-hand side and click device lists.
  2. When in the device lists you will see on the right-hand side a standby mode. This will indicate if the standby mode is on or off. If the standby mode is off then the Opto assessment process is continuing.
  3. If you click the button to standby mode on, the Opto assessment processes, meaning iPads and QR codes will stop working.
  4. When clicking on the standby mode on or off, you will receive a notification asking you if you wish to enable or disable the standby to confirm. Enabling standby will turn off the iPads and QR codes.

Disabling the standby will reactivate the Opto assessment process as normal.
