What data is written into the EPR?

Opto writes triage data in two forms:

• Structured SNOMED-coded data (questions and responses)
• Full triage view (PDF or HTML link)

This supports both clinical readability and downstream reporting/audit while keeping the EPR as the source of truth.

Which systems are supported?

Typical integrations include CareFlow (ED) and SystmOne (UTC) via HL7/FHIR or middleware. Patterns are reusable across Trusts.  Opto will also be configured to interoperate with Nervecentre in the coming months.

What happens if integration fails?

Patients are safely directed to reception and managed through standard processes. No patient is lost, and errors are logged and monitored.
