Streaming Departments Panel

This video provides an overview of how to switch off and on the different streaming departments available to patients as they arrive at your emergency department.

• First, log in to the ED Admin panel
• From the left-hand menu of options, select Settings. This will load the different streaming departments set up at your emergency department.
• Towards the right-hand side of the streaming departments you will see a Status tab. Click on the Status tab to switch on and off the different streaming departments set up within your emergency department.

If you are looking to add a department, please contact your Opto Health representative.

When switching a streaming department on or off, please ensure you review the patient routing rules pre-loaded into your ED admin panel. These are set by pathway conditions.

If any of these patient routing rules appear incorrect, please contact your site team immediately. In addition, please raise a ticket with your IT Service Desk to ensure the different pathways are rerouted correctly.
