SystemOne UTC Check-in Registration Confirmed and View Opto Assessment

This is an overview of how to confirm that a patient has registered successfully in System One from the Opto assessment and how to view the Opto assessment in the Opto Assessment Document Viewer.

Once the patient has completed the Opto assessment and has been streamed to the Urgent Treatment Center, they will be automatically registered on System One after going through the care flow process. This will happen automatically.

You will be able to see confirmation of the Opto streaming reference in the notes of the patient in your attendance screen. Information about the patient’s presenting complaint and acuity score will also be included.

To view the Opto assessment, look for the Opto icon in the middle of the top toolbar on the System One screen. When clicking on the Opto icon, the Opter Assessment Document Viewer will automatically load in your Internet browser.

Once in the viewer, you will be able to search for your patients using their patient identifiable details. When clicking search, a new page will appear with all of the patients that could be linked to that identifiable details. Select the correct patient to continue.

In this view, you’ll be able to see the number of documents, which means the number of Opto assessments completed in your Ed apartment attached to this patient. To view these documents, click view next to the correct patient.

This will then load the Opto Assessment document viewer for that patient. You will be able to see the current and previous Opto health assessments completed in your emergency department for this patient.

If you are not viewing the intended document, head to the top of the page where you will see a date and timestamp. Please click on this drop down and you will be able to navigate to the correct Opto assessment for your patient.

In the summary screen, you will be able to see the patient’s details, their acuity score, presenting complaint and responses to the clinical assessment related to the presenting complaint. Please ensure you scroll right through the Opto assessment to view all verified information. This information will also be added to the patient’s record and registration.
