CareFlow Check-in Registration Confirmed and View Opto Assessment

In this video, you’ll be provided an overview of the Opto Assessment Registration Dashboard.

This is an overview of the CareFlow Registration, Confirmation and Opto Assessment PDF viewer.

This will show you how to see when a patient has been registered in CareFlow after their Opto assessment and then how to view the PDF of their assessment.

Once a patient has completed an Opto assessment at your Emergency Department reception, they will be automatically registered to the Emergency Department waiting room and location that they have been streamed to. Information of the patients presenting complaints will be available in this view.

To check that the Opto registration has completed fully, you can view triage notes within the patient details. When viewing triage notes, you will see the Opto Assessment confirmation number.

To view the patient’s Opto assessment from Careflow, please go to your Internet browser. In your Internet browser, head to the tab labelled ULTH Links. Within there you will see the ULTH Clinical apps. Within there you will see Opto Health as a bookmark. Click on the bookmark. This will automatically open the Opto Health Assessment document viewer.

Once in the viewer, you will be able to search for your patients using their patient identifiable details.

When clicking search, a new page will appear with all of the patients that could be linked to that identifiable details. Please click on the correct patient.

In this view, you will be able to see the number of documents, which means the number of Opto assessments completed in your ED apartment attached to this patient.

To view these documents, click view next to the correct patient. This will load the Opto Assessment Document Viewer for that patient, showing current and previous Opto Health assessments completed in your emergency department for this patient.

If you are not viewing the intended document, head to the top of the page where you will see a date and timestamp. Please click on this drop down and you will be able to navigate to the correct Opto assessment for your patient.

In the summary screen, you will be able to see the patient’s details, their acuity score, presenting complaints and responses to the clinical assessment related to the presenting complaint. Please ensure you scroll right through the Opto assessment to view all verified information. This information will also be added to the patient’s record and registration.
